Looking at the title, especially since it’s on my school blog, one would think, “What the heck is this kid thinking!?!“. I thought the same, but I have a point to make. EPS is a small school: 243 students in 8 grades. Acceptance is high because the school needs new students. It’s how it survives. Unfortunately, this means the school can’t be very selective, and this has a wide range of students. Though it’s a private school, it isn’t like huge schools like Lakeside where only the smartest kids in the state get in. The difference can be seen on the surface. Compare classes at both schools. They may cover the same material, but you’ll most likely notice students here are struggling more at EPS. Interesting…?
